This policy explains what information [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us") collects through the Marten website at https://getmarten.vercel.app, and what we do with it. It covers this website only, not the Marten product.

What we collect

When you sign up for a demo, we collect what you type into the form:

• your work email address
• which sales channels you sell on (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop)
• your approximate monthly revenue range
• your approximate number of active SKUs
• the date and time you submitted the form

When you visit the site, we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records aggregated information such as the page you viewed, the referring website, your country and region, and your browser, operating system and device type. Visitors are counted using a hash that resets every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or across websites.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.

How we use it

We use your demo request only to:

• contact you about a demo or early access to Marten
• decide which sellers to invite first
• understand, in aggregate, what kinds of businesses are interested

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Where it is stored

Demo requests are stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in our Google account, which only our team can access. Google and Vercel process this information on our behalf as service providers.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to contact you about Marten, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the information you gave us, or to stop emailing you. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days. Every email we send will also tell you how to stop receiving them.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will email anyone whose demo request we still hold.
